Electrochemical Analysis of Architecturally Enhanced LiFe0.5Mn0.5PO4 Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube Composite

In this work, the effect of carbon on electrochemical properties multiwalled nanotube (MWCNT) functionalized lithium iron manganese phosphate was studied. an attempt to provide insight into structural and electronic optimized electrode materials, a systematic study based combination spectroscopic techniques conducted. The phosphor-olivine LiFe0.5Mn0.5PO4 synthesized via simple microwave synthesis using LiFePO4 LiMnPO4 as precursors. Cyclic voltammetry used evaluate parameters (electron transfer ionic diffusivity) redox couples. potentials show two separate distinct peaks that correspond Mn2+/Mn3+ (4.1 V vs Li/Li+) Fe2+/Fe3+ (3.5 due interaction arrangement Fe-O-Mn in olivine lattice. impedance spectroscopy (EIS) results showed LiFe0.5Mn0.5PO4-MWCNTs have high conductivity with reduced charge resistance. This result demonstrates MWCNTs stimulate faster electron stability for framework, which be favorable host material Li+ ions.
